Natural Dreamwork is different from dream interpretation. It’s about feeling into your dream images and stories to bring consciousness to the personal truths they reveal. The results are transformative. With compassionate investigation, active imagination and embodiment practices, you will actualize self-healing. These are virtual sessions. Online booking here.

Rodger Kamenetz poet, author and teacher is Natural Dreamwork’s founder. His phenomenological approach is resonant with aspects of Jungian and Archetypal Psychology, Gestalt Therapy and Shamanic wisdom traditions and honors creative practice, imagination and dreaming as integrative, self-revelatory soul processes.

What to expect?

Submit your dream written with vivid detail in present tense.

Your session will begin with a check-in and moment for grounding. We’ll read your dreams together and conduct a compassionate interview to evoke pertinent history and underlying details.

I’ll hold space as a guide and together, we’ll slow down the conditioned reactions of ‘thinking mind’ to create room for encounters with new depths of feeling using your dream’s imagery. We’ll discern which content has the potential to heal and creatively investigate how your dream’s lessons may serve you.

Committing to the process of ongoing dreamwork will connect you with resources from your dreams, deepen your capacity for feeling and help you to integrate inner-wisdom insights into waking life.

Why commit to dreamwork?

“Contemplating dream images can heal the broken imagination.” Rodger Kamenetz

While Natural Dreamwork is not traditional talk-therapy, it is deeply healing soul-care. For many, it is a thorough excavation, processing & integration of old patterns and wounding that have interfered with life enjoyment and forward progress for far too long.

Dreamwork does not focus on pathology or neurosis. Rather, it emphasizes embodiment, creativity and imaginative play with archetypal dream imagery as a potential avenue towards personal guidance, direction and life satisfaction. Ongoing sessions end with homework assignments to help you integrate the medicine offered by your dreams.

“I’ve been working with Cara exploring my dreams and not one session has passed that I haven’t felt immense healing. We’ve touched on parts of myself that’ve always wanted to be seen.

Cara brings knowledge from different practices, such as somatic bodywork, which really sets her apart. After each session, I get a homework assignment that Cara creates based on what my dreams present. The homework helps me integrate emotions and experiences that I’d previously locked away. I’m in awe of this work! I highly recommend Cara to anyone who collects their dreams regularly or who is looking for a more intimate, creative, supported approach to self-healing. It is so true that we have everything we need inside us!”
